Just announced- Thievery Corporation (live, full band!) will be playing in San Francisco on New Years Eve. They will be the headliner of the 9th annual Sea of Dreams party at the Concourse Center, playing with acts such as Bassnectar, The Mutaytor, BLVD & Cirque Berzerk. Thievery Corporation's second vinyl single from The Cosmic Game finds the duo collaborating with art-punk legend David Bryne. With its intoxicating afro-beat rhythms, distinct vocals, and punchy horn section, "The Heart's a Lonely Hunter" is sure to set any dancefloor ablaze. The A-side finds Latin-house maestro Louie Vega of Masters at Work stirring up the stew and adding his own funk ingredients to make a luscious extended club remix. The B-side sees Eric & Rob themselves reworking the original, transforming it into a driving 4/4 kick drum tribal house monster.
