Upcoming release "Cook'n with Federico Aubele" is available exclusively on iTunes from May 27th. The album has acoustic versions of songs from his previous albums Gran Hotel Buenos Aires and Panamericana plus two new songs, "Fantasmas" and the instrumental track "La Llamada". The set was recorded live in Buenos Aires earlier this year with Federico on vocals, guitar and percussion, Natalia Clavier on backing vocals, Claudio Alsuyet on Piano, Patricio Alsuyet on double bass, Ea on guitar. There are two tracks up on Federico's MySpace page now - "Diario de Viaje" and the previously unreleased "Fantasmas."

Federico joins labelmates Thievery Corporation on selected dates of the Outernational Tour in June, which also has live performances by Seu Jorge, Bebel Gilberto, Ocote Soul Sounds, Gnarls Barkley (Las Vegas), Ladytron, TV on the Radio, Los Amigos Invisibles and more! He then heads to Canada for this years Ottowa Bluesfest, followed by further festival dates in Hungary, France, Switzerland and England. Check the tour page for more info.

Hot on the heels of being nominated in the New York Post's annual "Best Of" round-up, the LA Times selected Panamericana as one of the top 5 albums of the year in addition to KCRW's Nic Harcourt (Morning Becomes Eclectic) including the release in his 2007 "Top Albums" list. Last fall, Federico was Nic's guest and performed live in his studio. Panamericana was also included in the iTunes Latino "Best of 2007" end of year list, with Federico being invited to create a celebrity iTunes playlist following soon after.

Single 'La Esquina' is available now on 12" Vinyl with remixes from Nickodemus and Ursula 1000. Another vinyl release 'Maria Jose' is coming soon featuring remixes from Toy Hernandez (Sonidero Nacional) and Subliminal Kid, DJ Spooky.
